Pregnant Sims??

My secret guilty pleasure: playing The Sims Freeplay on my phone. Yes, the computer game from the 90’s has made its way to the App Store. This is one of my favorite ways to pass the time while waiting at the doctors office.

Today, there was a huge sims update. I was so excited to open the game and see what it was. ****drum roll*** Your sims can now get PREGNANT! Are you freaking kidding me?? Even my sims can get pregnant and I can’t. Every time I open the game that I enjoy playing as an escape from reality, I am now faced with pregnant bellies and ultrasound pictures. Who knew The Sims could make you ugly cry? I think I will find another way to occupy my free time.

Oh man! The total injustice of this makes me so mad, I feel you hunni! In the early stages I used to love watching the episodes of my favourite old sitcoms where there were pregnancies and so on and daydreaming about it all, but now it just kills me. Hopefully one day soon we will have our turn hey! xo

I agree! I was watching two and half men last night and usually that show is perfect for making me laugh but the one last night was about Charlie wanting to have a baby. 😭😭😭

This so relatable! I find myself thinking that thing all the time, whether it’s a character on TV or in a movie, or when someone around my announces their pregnancy. Pregnancy jealousy is a real thing…and it sucks! Thank you for being so honest and transparent.

I agree! I try to avoid movies that I know have scenes about pregnancy but it never fails, one hits me out of no where. We watched the movie “game night” last night (it was super funny) and I’ll be damn if the girl on there isn’t struggling to get pregnant. And then of course ends up with a BFP at the end 🙄
